The Rock's Box Office ‘Rampage’ Continues

image from celebrityaccess.comWarner Brothers' blockbuster hit ‘Rampage’ starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stayed at the top of the heap in worldwide box office revenue over the weekend, adding $78.0M worldwide, according to estimates compiled by comScore. 

Domestically, “Rampage” slid to number two, adding an estimated $21.0M in its second week in the box office and is approaching $300 million in cumulative revenue, but it lost the number one spot to “A Quiet Place,” Paramount’s tightly scripted horror film.

“Quiet Place” has been quietly gathering its own revenue, adding $22.0M in North American theaters and $37.0M worldwide, over the weekend – great news for Paramount, which desperately needed the hit. So far, “A Quiet Place” has generated an estimated 207,158,711 in cumulative revenue, on a production budget of just $17 million.

Another Warner Bros. entry “Ready Player One” continued to perform at the box office and came in at #3 in the worldwide rankings, generating an estimated $30.5M over the weekend.
