LiveXLive has expanded its partnership with concert promoter AEG to add two music festivals to its slate of live music programming – Global Dance Festival, July 20-21 in Denver and Decadence NYE , the nation’s largest New Year’s Eve music festival across 600,000 square feet at the Colorado Convention Center.
“Expanding our presence in electronic music is a priority for LiveXLive and adds to our growing festival lineup,” said Rob Ellin, CEO and chairman of LiveXLive. “AEG is a leader in the music festival business, and we are excited to expand our relationship with them to bring fans more of the music they love.”
The agreement, which grants LiveXLive the exclusive opportunity to record, film, and distribute the festivals’ content, is the latest in a series of recent live streaming announcements from the digital media company, underscoring the desire for world-class music events to drive live digital audiences and viral viewership. LiveXLive will also produce original behind-the-scenes content, including artist interviews and other festival exclusives, offering fans around the world an immersive viewing experience of these events from any connected screen.
Fans will be able to access the live audio and video streams as well as all LiveXLive original content from the festivals through the LiveXLive website, certain LiveXLive owned channels and apps, and via music streaming and personalized radio subscription service, Slacker Radio.
