Revelator Raises $2.5M To Expand Digital Music Business Platform

revelator logoRevelator's mission is as simple as it is important: build the first open business platform for distributing, selling, licensing and collecting revenue for music online. Today, the the company announced it has raised $2.5 million to fund its global expansion.

Tel Aviv based music tech startup Revelator has raised an additional $2.5 million to expand its b2b digital music distribution, sales, licensing and analytics platform.  The Series A round was ld by Exigent Capital with participation from the Digital Currency Group and early-stage fund Reinvent. To date, the startup has raised a total of $4.5 million.

“There were no modern platforms for the B2B segment of the market,” founder Bruno Guez told TechCrunch. “It was really very antiquated, with record labels and distributors … not integrating with cloud services to manage their assets.”

Midemlab named Revelator one of the top 20 music startups of 2016.
