Conviction Of SXSW Fatal Car Crashes Upheld, Offense Upgraded

A Texas appeals court last Wednesday upheld the murder conviction of Rashad Owens for killing four people when he drove his car into a crowd at the 2014 South by Southwest music festival, and upgraded the offense from first-degree felony to capital felony, according to Courthouse News.
